Hello! I'm Ren
From an 18-year career in the Maritime Industry, a year in Surgical Technology, two years as a High Ticket Closer, and now, to a Full-Stack Software Developer.
During the time I was in high school, the administration introduced desktop computers for the first time. I received an award for "Best in Computer" during our graduation. Although I did not pursue a course in Computer Science, through the years, I have found myself looking at computer programming-related books every time I visit a bookstore. I had bought some computer programming books from time to time, even though I had a different career, but I never did dig in them too deeply; I had just tried to superficially learn things like Basic Programming, Visual Basic, and others, on my own. I never actually attempted to create any programs during that time. It was just a pastime. Just being able to do something on a computer kept my curiosity. And now, at my age, I have finally realized that maybe it really is my destiny to become a software developer. So, I finally decided to be one, and now, I am.
I have created several projects, ranging from just coding challenges to enterprise-grade applications. I would like to invite you to check them out. These projects showcase the skills I have gained and my capability to contribute to any project you may have.

Exterminus
Exterminus is a bug tracker application. It's a custom-designed .NET Core application done by way of Model-View-Controller with PostgreSQL database. It is a multi-tenant application designed to create projects and tickets, track their progress and record their history.
Project Manager handles projects wherein the tickets are maintained.
Team and team members handle each project.

EverContact
EverContact is a software application that provides users with the capability to input their contacts. It has the ability to add/edit/remove a contact, filter search, send email to each contact individually or via group in categories.
This feature allows users to easily manage and keep track of their contacts information they want to reference.

Loan Shark
Description:
This is a web application that allows users to input the loan amount, number of payments, and annual interest rate to calculate the amortization table and the monthly payment details for a home loan.
Features:
- Regular Expressions: A feature that is used to validate the user input
- JavaScript Objects: A feature that is used to organize the data and methods in a logical and meaningful way
- JavaScript Loops: A feature that is used to perform a specific task repeatedly
- JavaScript Functions: A feature that is used to group a block of code into a single unit
- JavaScript DOM Manipulation: A feature that is used to manipulate the content and layout of the web page
- JavaScript If/Then/Else Conditional Statements: A feature that is used to make decisions based on certain conditions
- JavaScript Booleans: A feature that is used to represent true or false values
- CSS and Bootstrap: A feature that is used to control the layout and design of the web page

Yin Yang
Yin Yang is a web application that allows users to input two values and checks for their divisibility from 1 to 100. If the first value divides evenly into a number, the program will output "Yin." If the second value divides evenly into the number, the program will output "Yang." If both values divide evenly into the number, the program will output "YinYang."

Ziento
Ziento is a web application that presents a coding challenge where a user can input a range of numbers (starting and ending number) and the program will display the numbers in a table format, with even numbers being displayed in bold.

Reversible
In Reversible, the challenge is to design and build a site with a coding challenge wherein a user enters a string and the program displays them in reverse.

In Radar, the challenge is to design and build a site with a coding challenge wherein a user enters a string and the program reverses the string and checks if they are the same as the entered string. In short, a palindrome.
